April’s Book Haul is a very special book haul. Not only is it my first Book Haul post, but it’s the one that encompasses all the AMAZING ARCs and books I got from both the LA Times Festival of Books and YALLWEST. I won’t be buying books for a couple months (okay lie, but I’ll buy only two or three new releases). Strap in because this is gonna be a long one.

Love Charms and Other Catastrophes by Kimberly Karalius // Young Adult ⋆ Fantasy. A sophomore charm maker at Grimbaud works to beat out the new charm maker in town.

Been Here All Along by Sandy Hall // Young Adult ⋆ Contemporary Romance. A teenager falls in love with his best friend who is all ready dating someone.

These Vicious Masks by Tarun Shanker & Kelly Zekas // Young Adult ⋆ Historical. After her sister vanishes, a girl discovers that people think she and her sister have healing powers and that her sister is in more danger than she ever could’ve imagined.

All the Feels by Danika Stone // Young Adult ⋆ Contemporary. When a college freshman’s favorite fictional character is killed off, she creates a hashtag to bring him back.

Haven by Rebekah Weatherspoon // Adult ⋆ Romance. While on a getaway from the city, Claudia’s life is turned upside down. Then she meets Shepard.

Triple Threat by Gwenda Bond // Young Adult ⋆ Science Fiction. Lois Lane runs into trouble when a group of mutant teens come to town. And her online crush, SmallvilleGuy, is about to make an appearance in Metropolis.

Warcross by Marie Lu // Young Adult ⋆ Science Fiction. A Bounty Hunting teenager gets an offer from a billionaire video game creator to spy on the international Warcross Championships.

I Believe in a Thing Called Love by Maurene Goo // Young Adult ⋆ Contemporary Romance. A Korean teenager creates a formula to love based off her father’s beloved K Dramas in hopes of finally overcoming her flirting failures.

Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore // Young Adult ⋆ Magical Realism. A boy who knows nothing about his past teams up with a girl to piece together his past and her family curse.

The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton  // Young Adult ⋆ Fantasy. In Orléans where Belles control Beauty, a Belle will have to decide between saving the Belles and herself or bringing a princess back to life and changing the world.

Want by Cindy Pon // Young Adult ⋆ Science Fiction. A Taiwanese teenager and his friends take on the villainous Jin Corporation. He finds himself falling for the daughter of Jin Corp’s CEO.

  1. Ahhhh what an incredible book haul! 😍 I hope you enjoyed YALLFEST – I’ve been following it through the authors on Twitter and I was so jealous that I couldn’t be there! I can’t believe you got a Warcross ARC, I hope you enjoy it and please let me know what you think! 🙂
